Have I made a mistake somewhere? 66dmg vs 71stam/23resilience doesn't sound right, but I suppose because v2 is matching sockets, and v1 is just hard out 12dmg gemming. Both setups grant you over 10k HP, I'm thinking dropping the 15stam gems from v2 (you'd still be 10k+) and using 3x 10resilience gems to push into 430+; then again, I'm not sure what kind of focus fire we can expect in 2.3 if any change from the current none.

Only problem I can see is that I personally don't have access to the awesome +15 stam and +12 damage gems. The guild just hasn't progressed that far (Now I don't know much about the new 10-man, but if these gems are gonna be in there let me know).

As for the general idea, I'll be doing a mix of both gem setups, leaning towards v2. This is mainly because even in season 2, my experience with being focused is quite different than yours. Once my 3v3 hit the 2k bracket, teams suddenly decided I was fun to beat up on (especially if they used a priest healer). With the increased duration on the hypothermia debuff, mages are going to be an even more viable target especially after that first iceblock.

It's not to bad, let's take a look at v2:

So 4 from BT, that you can either step down to 12stam or maybe buy 1 from the AH. The BT uncut gems could drop in ZA, I don't know I'm afraid :( Hopefully someone will enlighten us.

No :p I don't PvE, but I'm just using BT gems as an example, you can downgrade the lot to blue quality, it should be the same ratio; 12stam 10dmg etc. Or you can AH BT gems for what, 150g-250g on the AH I guess (better only AH a few :p).
