Hi, I just wanted to add to Hellenkeller's Guide because I noticed that he didn't have some of the combos below. I'm always up for suggestions though, if anyone wants to know any other strats for different comps just send me a private pm.

Tips
Have your shaman dropping rank 1 Windfury Totem (Dropping max rank Windfury Totem drains a lot of mana just for an extra 30 dmg. And good teams will usually kill it anyways)

Blood Fury trick (Only usable with Orcs.) If your shaman has 4-5 stacks of Wound Poison use Blood Fury and that will over write the Wound Poison. So, you basically lose all the Wound Poison Stacks. What this is useful for. If a rogue is on you and he has 4-5 stacks of Wound Poison. Use Blood Fury, cure the Crippling Poison, Drop an Earth Bind, Go Ghost wolf and kite. And when the 15 seconds of Bloodfury is over you can NS+HW yourself for 100% benefit of healing.

Use rank 1 Earth Shock. There's no reason to use max rank because it uses way too much mana, unless you're going to kill someone is the only time to use it.

Use rank 1 Frost Shock. If you're going to kite someone don't use max rank there is no point unless you're going to kill them.

Using Water Breathing for a buff protection can help before a game especially with the 30% resist buff.

Useful Addons
Focusframe (It will show another portrait & casting bar of another player so you can interrupt the casts, etc.)

Afflicted (It will show the CDS for interrupts like Pummel,CS,Kick, etc. It will also show when someone gains Freedom,BoP,etc. So, you know when to purge it)

Jims Cooldown Pulse 2 ( It will tell you when your cds are up like Earth Shock,Grounding Totem, etc.)

Spellalert (It will show what all the other enemies are casting.)

Warlock/Druid
If you see them at the start make sure you pretty much rush them, because once the warlock sees it's warrior/shaman he'll start summoning a Void Walker. You want your warrior on there warlock, stacking 5 Sunders. If you see the warlocks Fel Hunter gets to about 70% health, Intercept to it and try to kill it. If you've killed the Fel Hunter Bloodlust right away. Put full pressure on the warlock, if you can Purge the Fel Dom all the better. You most likely won't be able to get it vs a good druid/warlock though because they'll either go behind a wall, or try to CC the shaman and make sure he won't Purge it. You want to have your shaman Earth Shocking/Grounding all the Cyclones & Entangling Roots. If your shaman cannot get it make sure he calls it about one second ahead of time in vent and have your warrior either Fear,Intercept or Spell Reflect it, (maybe even Pummel it with the new Cyclone range.) Sometimes warlocks will start out with a Void Walker, if they do you. Stack 5 sunders on the warlock, Bloodlust when he gets to about 50%. Make sure your shaman Purges his Fel Armor (2),(3) stacks of Lifebloom, Rejuv, & Regrowth. I know some warrior/shamans go for the druids, but I don't like this idea. Because, this just leaves the warlock free to cast Fears, spam damaging spells and pretty much dominate both you & your warrior.

Warlock/Rogue

Usually a good warlock/rogue will have their warlock on the warrior and have the rogue on the shaman trying to shut him down. So, what you want to do is target there warlock. Purge his Fel armor if he can. Bloodlust almost right away, make sure when your shaman Bloodlust that the warlocks pet has already used his devour cooldown on your shamans Earth Shield or Water Breathing. After hes Devoured it, Bloodlust right away and cast Earth Shield on yourself to protect it. if your shamans Bloodlust gets dispelled, it'll be a lot harder but its still doable. Make sure your warrior pummels all the fears if he can. Make sure your shaman juke the warlock or rogues Spell Lock or Kick (Getting the mod Afflicted helps a lot too it shows cds for interrupts.) If the warlock put dots on you, you can go ahead and trinket a 6 second Kidney Shot. If the warlock didn't, then you want to save your trinket for a Blind. Make sure your shaman keeps down Poison Cleanse,WF,Tremor totems down.

Spriest/Rogue
Spriest/rogue is pretty much the same as warlock/rogue,you'll be going for the spriest. For spriest/rogue make sure your shaman purges the priest hard in the beginning. Purging his PW:S off pretty much will dominate the priest. Make sure your shaman stays away from the priest so he does not get a fear off on your shaman. Bloodlust when the spriest is about 70% health depending on the situation. I know some spriest/rogues play differently some will have the rogue on your shaman while the spriest tries to solo your warrior. If they do this, make sure you purge the spriest hard, Bloodlust early, juke the rogues kicks. The shaman needs to save his trinket for Blind. The other strat some spriest/rogues do is they'll target your shaman. If they do this, make sure your shaman LoS's the spriest after hes purged him. Keep Earth Shield on yourself 100% of the time, if the rogue has 4-5 wound poisons on you use the Blood Fury trick. Also, make sure your shaman trinkets the 6 second Kidney Shot if they're targeting your shaman, and he has dots.

Mage/Rogue
For this combo you'll want to go for the rogue. Most mage/rogues will try to go for your shaman while Sheep & Frost Novaing your warrior. What you want to do is, keep Earth Shield up 100% of the time on yourself. This is not a mana war, the game will be rather short. Have your shaman Earth Shock/Grounding all the Polymorphs & Shatter combos. Coordinate with your warrior if you cannot get an interrupt. If you're stunned or your Earth Shock/Grounding Totem are on cooldown make sure your warrior either Intercepts,Pummels,or Fears the mage. If your warrior is in say a Frost Nova and you just got Kidney Shotted while the mage is casting Polymorph. You're most likely going to want to trinket that Kidney Shot to Earth Shock or Ground the mages Polymorph. Using the Blood Fury trick can definitely help for mage/rogue too. Having your shaman juke Kicks and Counterspells will win you the game.Bloodlust almost right away vs mage/rogue.

Hunter/Druid
For this comp you'll want to target either the hunter or his pet (Mostly his pet though.) Killing the hunters pet will pretty much win you this game. Have your shaman interrupting the druids Entangling Roots & Cyclone. If he cannot get them have your warrior Intercept,Spell Reflect,Pummel,or Fear the druid. You'll want to pretty much save your Grounding Totems for when the hunter Scatter Shots your warrior and drops Freezing trap(If the shaman is near you just have him go eat it.) If the hunter is dropping Frost Trap, don't even worry about saving Grounding Totems for Freezing Traps. Purge the druids (2),(3) stacks of lifebloom,Rejuv,Regrowth on the pet. Have your shaman keep bringing the pet out of the druids LoS. The hunter will most likely pull the pet back so have your shaman try to drink if he can. Make sure your warrior is stacking Sunders on the pet. After you've killed the pet, and your warrior is on the hunter pretty much Bloodlust right away. Make sure the hunter doesn't get away and summon another pet. If he does get another pet out, Just kill it again, the hunter probably will be oom at this point so make sure to keep him in combat so he doesn't drink. Make sure your shaman keeps Water Shield up 100% of the time. Keep Poison Cleansing Totem down & cure the Viper Sting right away.

The warlock/rogue teams play very differently on my battlegroup (or maybe just in our rating range...) 100% of the teams we've faced on the way to 2K the rogue just sticks to me (Warrior) the entire game while the warlock dots me up, puts tongues on my shaman and chain casts fear at him.

Typically, as per virtually everyone's advice, I focus the warlock to keep him from screwing over my shaman. But with the rogue on me crippling and stunning me it's very difficult to keep the warlock snared.

With the rogue on me with dots and my shaman getting tongue's and spell locked I'm forced to shield very quickly and if I continue to stay on the warlock, he'll just drain tank all of my damage without much difficulty.

Almost all of our losses have been to mage/rogue and warlock/rogue. The few times we've won have been because of the other team being unbelievably bad. In one game I got the rogue out of stealth, he vanished, I got him out again and tanked his damage while trying to stay in range of the warlock to keep him hamstrung. When the rogue sprinted to CC my shaman I intervened a blind -- And we still lost because we couldn't outheal the damage, even with me forced to have a shield on most of the game.

Why is it that trying to kill the warrior is such a bad idea for warlock/rogue teams?

Because if they're going for you, they're going to give you incredible amounts of rage. Therefore, that means you destroying the lock. If they're targeting you, and you're getting stun locked. Make sure, you Intercept,Piercing Howl, or IS after his Kidney Shot has worn off. Or you can just trinket the Kidney Shot. Seems like the problem is that your having to go defense very quickly, thus you not getting a kill. Make sure you're Pummeling the warlocks fears. If you cannot get them simple call it on vent and have your shaman Earth Shock it. Make sure your shaman is juking the Spell Locks, don't just be casting a full LHW with Tongues on when he's obviously going to spell lock. The warlocks pet should be on the shaman with auto Devour most likely. So, make sure that the auto Devour is on cooldown when he casts Bloodlust. Right after he's Bloodlusted himself use buff protection I.E Water Shield or Water Breathing.Make sure your shaman keeps Earth Shield on you 100% of the time & Keeps Poison Cleansing Totem down.

Great guide all around, curious about what you do with warrior/Pali? we've tryed Me sitting on the pali and disarm/intevene EVERYtime its up...Once the pali bubbles i spamstring the warrior let me shaman get away for aslong as possible. Then 5sunder poplust and chain interupt the pali..But that only works a fraction of the time...Holy shock heals / Me melee hitting for 300 with sunders and exe up is just not good enough...(Armory: Drogas Azjol-Nerub if your curious about gear)

But i like everything in this guide...Also, It seems like every shaman i've tryed just CANT play quite aswell as we need it...Granted i could just be picking up so-so players, but there all geared 4/5 s3 etc...How would you go about training a shaman to Purge inbetween heals and Es'ing/Grounding totem Casts? No shaman i've played with is competent enough to do either of those..Most just purge in the very begining, and others will spam purge but won't watch there own health..Please, Help =(

For warrior/paladin we go on the paladin, coordinate interrupts, Purge the Freedom right as he freedoms. I keep Earth Shield on myself, so I can spare more time for Purging, dropping totems,Earth Shocking. Right as he bubbles my warrior will Intervene me & Disarm the opposing warrior. And as soon as the bubble ends we get on the paladin again, Bloodlust, and kill him.

Thats hard to tell. For beginners I would make sure your shaman has a focus mod to Earth Shock the casts & Spellalert.

What about warrior / druid? We were at 2100 and got farmed below 2000. They were all warrior / druids.

Hellenkeller already has a guide on that I think, (Haven't checked it out though, so I could be wrong.) I'm just adding to his current guide.
