Our setup is:
Warrior
Mage
Warlock (UA)
Shaman (Resto)
Paladin

we went 22-3 from 1720 to 2005 and was wondering if this setup will be efficient enough to get up to maybe 2200 :o

Yes sure. Although I would consider having the warlock go SL, cause he will usually be a main target. But that is up to you.

The setup, itself, is beautiful. Paladin + Shaman is a good healer combo, warrior is a given, and mage warlock do quite good, they both have different CC, they both can usually survive, the rest of you is mail or plate anyway.

So yes, this setup can do good at 2000+, but after all, it's the players that determine your rating.

We play nearly the same thing, but Rogue instead of Warrior. We're doing extremely well so far. The only thing holding us back now is our Mage having Internet problems :(

It "feels" like we're 2200+ capable. We will have to get up there to determine how tough the competition really is and what counters other teams devise. So far we haven't played the same team many times per night since we're climbing steadily up and since there were plenty of teams playing near our rating.

The real key is how good the Warlock and especially the Mage are on CC. You don't have a huge amount of burst-DPS, so you need to CC their healers effectively and lock your target down so the Mage can freeze & unload for the last 30% or so.
