atm running lock/paly and havent beaten a druid/lock team above 2k rating..i think its been 0-5 so far vs various teams.

recent game was so bad, druid sat in bear form a lot, used frenzy regen and bashed a ton while only going caster form when i was fear/ out of LOS / lock had spellock up

general plan was to dot both players up (not sure if i should dot pet..is it worth the time?)

and alternate fears on the players, immediately switching to mana drain when druid popped out in caster form.

a few problems i had was if pet was on druid spellocking the lock becomes harder. i also tend to use lol auto devour because using defensively on me or paly lets druid drink. also puts pressure on druid to cover his innervates and even dispelling lifebloom has advanatge of being less heal:mana efficient

My strategy against Druid/Warrior is DOTing both of them and then start pressuring the Warrior and Draining his life.

As weird as it sounds, it worked incredibly well here. Paladins have more longevity in Arena than Druids, if you keep the Druid busy he will not spam Cyclone. And even if he does, you should have enough Resilience to survive the 10 seconds of CC.

Your Paladin must keep an eye on your pet (and use the Blessing of Protection + Summon Voidwalker combo whenever your pet is at 2000- health), and save Fel Domination as much as you can. And keep the Druid in combat as much as he can. The Druid will not find enough time to drink if you keep pressuring the Warrior.

Once you have a Blueberry up, keep it on the LOS of your healer but away from the Warrior. I usually fear the Warrior up, gain distance for the 2 seconds he will stay feared, put the blueberry on Stay and I proceed to go away from it.

^ problem i was talking about was druid/lock more so, as its a LOT harder to keep pressure on a warlock through dmge to force druid out, between soullink, siphon life, fear and drain life i probably only cause barely half at best the dmge needed to be healed by a druid i think

warrior/druid ive gotten better at, won the last 2 or 3 times ive vsed it for 18-25 pt wins so yeah

if your gettin feared to the point where you can't do anything, your paladin should l2 cleanse.
thats the weakness of a druid/warlock team, no cleansing except for curses.
judgement of justice on the druid, and just keep him in combat.

Cleansing a Fear can be difficult when my partners got Corruption, Drain Life and Shadow Embrace on him as well - remember Cleanse only removes one magic effect, unlike the Priest dispel which removes 2. Also i've got to be cleansing the Mana Drains on myself.

And JoJ makes you immune to Fear, so i try to use it sparingly - if at all.

DPS the pet primarily to force the druid to constantly shift.

Why?

(1) The pet will die - allowing your paladn to drink while he resummons a new one
(2) They will have to pull the pet back - allowing your Paladin to drink
(3) The druid will come heal it, keeping him near you and forcing him into caster form.

The match is generally in druid/locks favor but a well played warlock/paladin makes it 50/50.

Another trick we used as Pal/Lock to beat Lock/Druid is one I got from Unstoppable the CGS player. Since the pet is on the Paladin most of the time have the Paladin run up to the Lock and HoJ him, after the HoJ use howl of terror to fear the pet and the lock simutaenously allowing your Paladin to drink. It won't work all the time due to the felhunters high resists, but when it does, it's an easy 5-6 ticks of drink especially since you can then single target fear the druid to CC 3 targets.

You should try stacking more mp/5

Use 4 int 2 mp/5 in yellow slots
Use 9 healing 2 mp/5 in blue/red slots

FWIW.

Having 95-100 mp/5 unbuffed makes mirror teams much easier, your MP/5 is very low if that's the gear you use for 2's.

keep fears on warlock
banish pet
fear warlock
paladin drinks or druid comes to keep paladin in combat

its largely in favor of druid lock unless paladin is in bt pve gear (not sr)

and you're going to lose on blade's edge

Yeah i know it's very low, i didn't bother re-gemming when i started to play 2v2 seriously. I'll try and work on it.

Thanks for the advice!
