did we end up winning still? I forget we have had so many really intense close call games. Most of the teams we've played have been from bg9 or bg2(cyclone my current bg).

We have played a lot fo the top teams and had a pretty good record vs most. Except for Mounshif(sp?) druid/ret/warr team. I think we have had like a 70% win ratio in the 1800-1900 bracket.

You guys coordinate burst pretty well, I was very impressed.

True, but I don't think you ever fought someone that is top 1 in the world, they bursted down my lock too fast. After drain nerf that team can lose to RPM. And has I said before "my hunter never played that setup before".

The other team has the advantage, but it's hard to shut out a decent RMP.

If you open on the other team well, they're going to have to burn scatter, spell lock, silencing shot early, and then you can switch to the hunter and gib him.

My hunter didn't have silencing shot =/ he was doing some weird spec with Wyvern sting I think it was 0/27/34
Kind of weird, but he said was better, go figure, silencing shot would be an advantage for sure.

ofc you can lose, if there is a perfect switch on the druid and fear/blind lands on 1 dps and sheep lands on the other its death for that druid and then you can steamrole the hunter. its not easy and you will lost to most skilled teams but its beatable not impossible at least

Yeah warlocks just kind of chase you down the ramp and then camp the ramp, lack of circles to be run.

Easy enough to deal with but forces the use of cc or your partner jumping off.

Sorry I just found it odd that hafu was worth 13 while you were worth 7-8.
To my understanding of the bracket mechanics. We either should have gotten glicks again or you two should have gotten each other. My impressions were that glicks stoped queuing so you could play us.

I made a judgement call on that one and decided that I didn't have the time to do anything but regrowth and hope it got through(which I didn't--Didy died as the CS landed). Ask Celex how often he lands his CS on me before you talk shit in that department.

The positioning issues you're referring to are mainly the result of our previous RMP playstyle (which we're changing). It's very nearly impossible not to get fear fucked when Didy is essentially stationary and I'm tethered to a 40(/30/20) yard radius.

You have a significantly larger amount of rage, even if you're being CC'd for a significant part of the game.

A lot of the time, if they're training a warlock as RMP and just chain sheeping/nova'ing the warrior, they can be relatively rage starved. In this case, if the warrior gets one solid white hit in ... well, damage begets damage.

Either they completely stop it, or leave it alone, or put a cap on it.
In such case was the nerf to constant arena drinking.
It wasn't a direct fix to the drink bug, but it did put a cap on its short drink abuse.
Which means the developers acknowledges that such technique exists, and they will let it be with some limit to it.

From what it looks like, the blind-distract bug is a very serious one.
Since it completely cripples a player.

^ Yup. There are exceptions, as defined by the community if the game makes don't step up.

I think this exploit would be one of those exceptions to play to win. It only benefits one class, and in an incredibly crippling way. It's not like you can healthily incorporate this tactic into WoW arena play. This doesn't make the game deeper or more interesting. It's just retarded.

Regarding the Fel Dom thing, I managed to stop a cast by dispelling it playing Hunter/Priest 2s on my alt the other day. At least I think that's what happened. My partner wasn't anywhere near him and I didn't have fear range so I was just mashing dispel, and even though I saw the cast start it cancelled as soon as fel dom was removed. Maybe he was just retarded and moved mid-cast or something, though, because I haven't been able to replicate it (not that I've really tried much, since I prefer to actually stop the cast before dispelling regardless).

it may be a lag thing (ie: you purge it right as they finish the cast but the buff is still up for a split second or something)

i do have 300+ ping, so that would explain it

The Fel Dom buff also lowers the mana cost of the spell pretty significantly. Mana cost is taken into account at the end of a casted spell, and if a player doesn't have sufficient mana the spell is cancelled. Maybe this is what you saw happen?

I think this exploit would be one of those exceptions to play to win. It only benefits one class, and in an incredibly crippling way. It's not like you can healthily incorporate this tactic into WoW arena play. This doesn't make the game deeper or more interesting. It's just retarded.

Play to win? Either you guys got a how to play :warlock::druid::warrior: guide from glickz / hafu / rhaegyn between queues or they are playing your characters. No one gets that much better in between games.

Just a coincidence that we farmed you up to liek 1950, lose to glicks team twice (their peels off Hafu are ridiculous) and then you guys procede to do the same thing to us for however many games. Some of those other things you guys were doing were def questionable though.
