This is why they should have done a requirement IE having a 2k+ rated live team.

Then again the 2v2 tourney that was private invite I played in was worse, everyone would just queue dodge each other.

Definitely. They are trying to make this the "play with the best" tourney, why not put some reasonable restrictions on it.

People like that are the reason the registration server is "too busy" (Hunter can't get through to actually get on the server, even), and why the queues are so long.

The rest of his gear is similarly gemmed/enchanted, if at all. And he picked Draenei.

He duelled me twice and couldn't get me below 80% mana either time as I sat in caster form melee'ing him with Insect Swarm/Moonfire going, which confirmed the suspicion that he's not just screwing with people.

The 6 minute queues really take the desire out of you, especially if you can't even get good games in.

My team stopped playing after we played the same team 8 out of the last 10 games, for so many people doing arena there hasn't been many different teams with much talend

Yea it's a little fucking ridiculous right now.

I was dueling people on my warlock and not one person (including rogues) got me below 90% life.

In a mirror match against another lock I ended at 100% also. So many stupid noobs cluttering the server that have no idea how to play any of the classes they are running.

Out of my 3 chars only one will be a class I've never done arena with (hunter) but I've played one at 60/70. Besides I personally don't think its hard to play any class if you've played as long as I have.

Yea, my arena partners are both playing some classes they haven't played in the past.

So far I'm only playing a spec I haven't actively been (my paladin is ret on this realm instead of holy like on live).

My druid friend (Tist) from the live server is playing as a resto shaman despite only having had a level 29 shaman, but man is he an amazing shaman (focus earth shocks ftw).

We're trying out a ret paladin, warrior, resto shaman combo. So far it rips up any team comp which is playing a druid since no one can be cc'ed due to cleanse/freedom and JOJ means the druid never has time to get a single cyclone off between all the windfury burst.

Cdub (warlock on live) is playing as the warrior, and is similarly an amazing warrior.

I think there are people who "get it" as far as arena goes and people who just don't, and it's a safer bet to have a player you're familiar with playing with be an unfamiliar class than to partner up with someone who just happens to play the class but may not be as good of a PvPer.

Not really susprising since half of Europe is not allowed to participate.

Anyways to me the long queue times aren't really surprising either considering we still got 10+ 2v2 queue times on Live servers and the tournament realm just went online -> everybody wants to play now and later everybody will have to play since you need to do a certain amount of games.

on several occasions ive waited 20+mins in q only to either leave or be matched up against a 1000 rated team when average que times are 5minutes or w/e and there are other teams quing around my rating
