Recently my friend (lock) and his paladin friend has been losing to druid/warrior teams, and so he decided to practice with my team (druid/warrior).

I don't have 4pc and my warrior is in full s2 and Stormherald.

We played two skirmishes against each other and we lost both of them; he used voidwalker right out of the gate and summoned another one after my partner had killed it.

Both games were very close, with the second game the paladin was dead but I was at around 5% health and mana so I died, and my warrior followed.

We tried going for the voidwalker twice, but it seems to be very hard as the warlock puts pressure on me with mana drain and dots, with doesn't allow me to drink and we had trouble LoSing the voidwalker from the Paladin.

Second game, we tried the same thing, however near the end of the fight, the Paladin already used his bubble and my warrior just decided to go for him instead and he died within 10-20 seconds, however we couldn't get any more games after that.

Does anyone have any strats to beat druid/lock teams in the case that the warlock used voidwalker twice? Usually they have puppy out the first time and it's very easy to take it down.

skewed game.. no lock in his right mind would start an arena with a voidwalker out..

you should have put on shadow resist, because it would have been just as lame

Allright thanks :), I just want to take the worst case scenario in case we might find ourselves fighting against a warlock/pally team over and over that they decide to come out with a VW.

Also, any tips against warlock/druid? We tried going for the warlock but my warrior then gets CC'ed like hell, should we go for the druid?

That is why as war/healer you have to bum rush the warlock out the gate before he can summon one. Forcing him to use his quick summon after you kill the felhunter. Top end locks will run off and long summon a VW when their pet is getting low, you absolutely must prevent that. Any more than 2 pets is simply too much to overcome at times.

Have your warrior keep all 3 targets hamstrung so you can kite and drink, stack sunders, and hope your warrior is good enough.

Warrior / druid is a tough match up against warlock / druid. To start off the game have your warrior pop Death Wish and his Trinket for extra attack power, while you cyclone the paladin. After 2 cyclones, that pet should die. When the warlock pops the next pet, have your warrior get on it. Once the DR on cyclone is up throw 3 on the pally then do a feral charge --> bash. The next pet should be dead or very close to being dead. After both pets are down have your warrior be all over the warlock so he cant drain mana. Meanwhile you need to be CC'ing the pally and dodging mana drains. Once the pally BoPs the warlock, cyclone him 3 times and have your warrior keep dpsing him. After the pally's bubble is down you can CC for enough time that your warrior can maybe kill the lock.

The game wont be easy for fast. You guys have to immensly outplay the other team.

One other tip i can give you is root the warlock so your warrior doesnt have to chase him around if he is being CoEx kited.

Once the warlock's 2 pets are down you have won half the fight. From that point on you are free to drink whenever you can.

going for the pet twice is a must imo :> if a pally is the healer, it should be possible ot cc him while killing the pet. if it's a druid healer, staying on the pet will still be the best, sinse he will use alot of mana doing so, and the pet wont be chasing you(if it will, you can los it, and kill it), which allows you to drink :) also remember, that having drain mana on you doens't keep you in combat. sometimes it's worth eating the drain mana while travelforming to the opposite end drinking(depending on how far away from the lock you started) :p

oh and if it's a pala healer, evne if you're at 10-20% mana when the second pet dies, it's ussually a win due to EZmode drinking =)
