I love how the tournament is filled with morons trying to Pug 3v3 with bad combos and people asking what spec is the best for arena

What did you expect?
For the most part the 3v3 tournament servers will be made up with people who just want to play a toon with better gear, ect. Just like all PTRs, but then there will be the very serious pvpers/testers(PTR).
Give it a week or 2.. and it will basically clear out of those "morons".

Wouldn't it have been more expectable that the part where you got to pay for the tournament would've weeded out the "morons" ?
If they're there now, they're not gunna be gone in 2 weeks, are they :p

Yea, I was honestly quite amazed seeing people shouting off that they were looking for teams, it made me think that they most likely don't even have a level 70 and just wanted to pay $20 for the chance to have a geared out 70.
Too bad all they can do is arena, in which they'll get wafflestomped.

The mage on my 3s team and I jumped on TR to make our chars and mess around doing some 2s (mage/war ftw), since our druid is away for the week, and we were both surprised at how many certifiably awful people there were.
I'm not talking the kind of people who have trouble breaking 1800, we're talking keyboard turners who probably can't stay above 1500.
Theory: They're all Canadians who said "what the hell" and just put 250 words on a piece of paper to get access to epix and level 70s.

If you think about it they actually pay more to play on live for the same amount of time and they don't get to choose their gear.
The majority of the people on TR probably don't even have 70's.

One of my teammates was like "why would anyone pay $20 to use THAT AXE as a hunter?@@?!!!"
I said well they already pay almost $20 a month to not have that Axe...

One thing I've been enjoying is trying out classes I don't have at 70 in my off time so I can see which race/class combo I like the best for them at 70 (as far as looks and animations as well as their racial).
It's sort of nice so I can see what I may or may not want to roll next.
