I'm pretty new to poker and I've been hearing alot of people talk about getting alot of their money from rakeback from full tilt, but I'm not quite sure where to sign up for it or how it even functions. So just wondering if anyone can give any insight into what it means and how it works. thnx

Someone said earlier in another post to just Email them if you didn't sign-up with a Rakeback bonus.

This is what I did earlier today, waiting on a reply from them.

Nadra, I sent them a mail asking whether I could still opt for rakeback on my existing account. Should I expect an answer? (cus it says I can mail them about this in their FAQ)

Yes, Email them saying you want rakeback added to your account or you are going to go to another poker site. They will email you back with a rakebackpros.com link and then you put your ftp name on there and you should get a response back from rakebackpros saying if your eligible.

Any clue how long this takes? I've emailed them a couple times and Full tilt says they are contacting Rakeback to see if im eligible and Rakeback says they are contacting FullTilt to see if I'm eligible..

Really not sure what to expect.

does having rakeback affect you if you play SnG/Tourneys? Cause I could just do that until I get it I guess...

It will, there are a lot of people who were signed up on full tilt before and are requesting rakeback now. Rakebackpros is fairly new and its one of the first sites to offer rakeback to people who are already registered on the site. The only other sites you could try are absolute and ultimate bet. Which both are offering a nice deposit bonus also.

I don't think I signed up with ANY affiliate...

Hello Don,

Thanks for getting in contact with us about rakeback.

Unfortunately, we?re unable to offer rakeback to you, as Full Tilt Poker does not offer rakeback directly to players.

While we try to accommodate players to receive rakeback through affiliates, you were referred to Full Tilt Poker initially by an affiliate who does not offer rakeback. As we can?t switch your account to another affiliate or open a second account for you, you will not be eligible to receive rakeback in the future.

We apologize for the inconvenience and hope that you will continue enjoy playing with us.

We inform you that your initial deposit bonus was successfully activated.

All players receive a 100% matching bonus up to $600 on their first deposit to Full Tilt Poker. However, please note this is not an instant match bonus. For your bonus money to accrue, you must earn a certain number of Full Tilt Points (FTPs). You can find out more information on earning your bonus here: http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/deposit-bonus-details.php

Basically, for every dollar raked from a pot that you are dealt cards for (you don't have to win the pot), you'll earn $0.06 towards your bonus. You can earn up to $18 per hundred hands playing in the cash games.

For every dollar of rake that you pay in a tournament or Sit & Go, you'll earn 7 FTPs, or $0.42 towards your bonus. For example, a $50+5 tournament will earn you $2.10 towards your deposit bonus.

You have 120 days to earn the entire deposit bonus. Click on "Bonus Account" in the "Cashier" window to view information on any of your pending bonuses. You'll note that the bonus is released incrementally and the activated and expiration dates are displayed.

You do not need a code to take advantage of our initial 100% deposit bonus. The bonus amount will be automatically credited to your Bonus Account where it will be held and released to your cash account in increments of 10% or $20, whichever is less.

Since you made a first-time deposit of $100, your bonus will be released into your account with each $10 you earn. At three points per hand, each of these increments can be earned in fewer than four hours of play at one table.

For more information about this bonus, please go to: http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/deposit-Bonus

If you're interested in a bonus you can start earning right away, check out our Refer-A-Friend (RAF) program. You can earn up to $100 for each new friend you refer to Full Tilt Poker!

For more information on our RAF bonus, please visit our website at: http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/Refer-A-Friend

There are also plenty of other ways to get in on the action. To view all of our exciting promotions, please visit: http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/promotions.php

Good luck at the tables, and if there's anything else we can do for you, please let us know.

Regards,

Alessandro

What its saying is that when you signed up on full tilt poker and put in your promotional code you entered one that wasn't directly through FTP. (I think atleast).

If you're mainly a cash game player you could try ultimatebet.
www.rakebrain.com and www.ultimatebet.com

Anyone with a PS account able to get their rake back after signing up w/o a code. I emailed Pokerstars and they said

Thank you for your email.

After reviewing your account, I can see that your account is unfortunately
not tracked to 'RakeTheRake.com'.

While this means that you will not be able take advantage of their
promotions (we can not retroactively track your account), I trust you will
find one (or more!) of our many promotions and rewards suitable to you, and
to your play.

Please check out our VIP Club, which provides many valuable options for the
points you may have already earned with us. Full details on the VIP Club can
be found at:

http://www.pokerstars.com/vip/

Additionally, we also offer regular deposit bonuses, freerolls and other
promotions for our existing players. I would recommend visiting the
following page for a full overview of our current promotions (check back
frequently -- they are constantly updated!):

http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/promotions/

Thank you for your understanding in this matter, and thank you for choosing
PokerStars!

UGH, I am pretty sure I am losing out on alot of extra cash and don't know what to really do.
