Resorting to resto in lower brackets

Title says it all... Im not too concerned about attempting to find a good partner as elemental in 2's, because i know no makeups really make it that far with a shaman.

But the problem is i really dont want to have to resort to resto in 3's, ive been playing as elemental with a rogue and an spriest and weve made it to 2100, we remade the team and are finding problems beating other gladiator team makeups in the 1900s and so on. This worries me, making me think that we wont be able to retain a 2100 rating as a triple dps combo.

So my question is, does anyone know a good makeup for an ele shaman in 3s? Im curious to see what makeups people may come up with or have seen/tried.

Holy Pala + Warrior or Hunter + Priest maybe, both are pretty solid but I wouldn't get your hopes too high with RMP's, Druid-Lock-Rogue/Warrior and turtles being the only teams you meet at 1800+.
You just gotta pray to get more turtles than Rogue teams.

Pre HARP nerf I've got to 2,1k+ in 2 days or so with Holy Pala-Warrior, it should be easier now when all rogues are ShS or Muti.

And once you do go resto, you'll see its not easy to get up there, with any team.

(resto right now, collecting all the gear for elemental now. Instead of running resto shaman/feral druid/ms warrior in 3s we are going to try resto druid/ele shaman/ms warrior. So me and my druid are just going to swap roles sorta speak. It might be a good combo, idk.)

let the druid stay resto, and its a very strong dubbel healer team :p

Not sure if it still works, but shadowpriest/affwarlock/elemshaman used to be strong.
